Expect marks, gaps, gouges and marks due to my previous life as a wine barrel. Do not use as a cutting board. The top can be wiped clean with a wet rag, but do not submerge in water as the base is not waterproof. Store flat.

Chalkboard

Before use, season chalkboard by rubbing white chalk across entire
surface then wipe with a dry cloth. This helps prevent ghosting.

Cherry Charcuterie Cutting Board

  • Clean with soap & water
  • Dry thoroughly
  • Do not soak
  • Apply oil monthly or more often depending on use
  • To apply mineral oil: Start with a clean dry board. Wipe on with paper towel or cloth. Let soak in for 20 minutes. Wipe off excess with dry towel.
